Well, I’m sitting in San Francisco airport with a few mins (read hours) to kill and thought I’d post a quick entry.
I did plan on posting while I was there, but when I got back to the hotel room I pretty much just crashed, It seems this time round for some reason the jet-lag got the better of me, oh well.
My first con over with, and I must say it was awesome. I’ve already pre-reg’d for 2008

I’ve got a few pics up in my gallery but I actually ended up using my Video Camera more, I’ll try and get a few clips up when I get the chance. I’m coming back to the UK with a head full of ideas and things I want to do before next year, maybe another fursuit (not even finished this one!) and plenty of ideas from the panels. I did a reasonable amount of socialising for me, I didn’t go to any of the dancing in the evenings, one, because of just feeling tired, two, not really my thing :p … Maybe next year some one will drag me in.
I think I may get a personal(ish) number plate for my car as well, L10 NXW seems to be available Read as Lion XW, XW being Xevian Wake as I am in SL and fursona
Well, The base structure of the head is all done, at last, now on to the fur. Should be fun, got to think about my paws now.

Okay, So, I gave in, I’ve ordered a Sony HDR-SR1E from Purely Gadgets, I hope I’l get it before FC. I thought, We’ll can only really created SD DVD’s and as I have, egads, a copy of Windows on my Macbook Pro, I can use the Sony software with out too much issue. I’m just hoping AVCHD will be supported in iMovie before long, iLife ‘07 is no doubt due out next week, but I don’t think it’ll have AVCHD support, Just have yo wait and see I guess..
Update: *growl* There out of stock, even though it said it was instock when I ordered it… Now I’m gonna have to phone around :/
Okay, getting further, I’ve got a mock head shape on the frame now, attached to my head, now to workout how to make it all :p

Damn… This looks like a cool camera… HD 1080i, 30GB HDD for recording, one problem…. it uses a new format, AVCHD, all the major manu’s have signed up, but no bloody software supports it yet. It’s H264 based, so should be easy for people to add, we’ll see, at £795 I’m so tempted, but what to do with it’s video.. *growl*
Okay, So I got the jaw on my head, It’s not super comfortable yet, and still moves around but getting somewhere, still dubious as whether it’ll be done in time… two weeks

I’m still hoping to get my head done for FC, but it’s looking a bit flakey at the moment, after getting my sis to help me make a plan, it’s a bit larger than i thought, not much of a problem form the making it side, but from the seeing out side :p

Just spotted a teaser trailer for Live Free or Die Hard , Looks like a Die Hard film to me :p
I bought a Nescafé / Krups Dolce Gusto, I’m pretty impressed, way better than Senseo things, and seems a nicer (and cheaper) setup than Tasimo, Also picked up the Plunkett and Macleane soundtrack, Composed by Craig Armstrong, buying CDs for one track again, 7, Ball, It’s the music used on the BBC HD Preview trailers
